Braemar Howells Commences Support to Maersk Oil Angola

On December the 1st, 2008, Braemar Howells enters into a 3 year agreement with Maersk Oil Angola, to support their Deep Water Exploration activities in Blocks 8,16 and 23. The agreement sees Braemar Howells move in excess of US$700k of Oil Spill Containment and Recovery Equipment into the Maersk Oil Supply Base in Luanda. The equipment will be deployed in a standby capacity during exploration activities to ensure that any environmental impact resulting from the operations is responded to swiftly and the impact upon the environment is minimised.
