With its roots in the field of Marine Oil Spill Response, the company has expanded and diversified its fields of operations to include Oil, HAZMAT, CBRN, Forensic Science and Operational Support, both on land and in a marine environment.
With a workforce of responders coming from a huge variety of backgrounds, including Military, Emergency Services, Merchant Navy and Chemical Industry, the experience the company offers to clients is huge.
The company operates 12 Response Bases within the United Kingdom and is able to offer clients an on site response time of 2 hours. With satellite tracked vehicles, a dedicated 24 hour call centre and an Emergency Response mindset, the most appropriate response teams and vehicles are able to be deployed to incidents, regardless of geographic location.
With a large client base including including National Governments, companies in the fields of Transport, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals,Oil Refining, Ports and Manufacturing, through to the Military, Fire Services and Police Forces, Braemar Howells has on many occasions demonstrated its pedigree in the field of Incident Response and Crisis Management.
In addition to being trained and experienced in their own fields of expertise, response personnel within Braemar Howells undertake general training to allow them to work in areas such as the Rail Network, Airports and Ports and Oil Refineries. In addition to this, Braemar Howells considers the safety and welfare of its personnel as its number one priority when responding to incidents and ensures all are trained in first aid, risk assessment and mitigation.
